The Mossyrock volleyball team spent more time on the bus than it did on the court Tuesday, as the Vikings sandwiched a dominant sweep over Three Rivers Christian, 25-4, 25-15, 25-12 between hour-long bus rides to and from Longview.
Payton Torrey had a team-high 11 kills, while Hailey Brooks posted six and Paige Houghtelling added five. Erin Cournyer logged five of Mossyrock’s 16 aces, with Torrey and Brooks both putting up three.
Houghtelling led the Vikings with 12 digs, while Brooks and Abbie Lovan both logged 11 and Torrey had 10.
Mossyrock will host Naselle in a rivalry matchup Thursday.
