Vancouver police on June 24 arrested a 20-year-old man who they say had sex with two teenage girls he met online and filmed the interactions.
Andrew Joseph Guerrero, an active duty military member living temporarily in Portland, met the teens on social media, according to the Vancouver Police Department.
They later met up in person, police said, and Guerrero started having sex with a 13-year-old girl and a 16-year-old girl. Guerrero filmed the sexual acts through social media, police said.
Police said Guerrero also let the girls live at a hotel room registered to his name. When police arrived at the hotel room and arrested Guerrero, the two girls and three underage boys were in the room.
The girls have been put into protective custody, police said.
Guerrero is being held at the Clark County jail on charges of raping a child and trafficking.
Police urged parents to monitor their children’s social media accounts and speak to their children about online safety.
