Annual Polar Bear Plunge Coming to Offut Lake on New Year’s Morning
The annual polar bear plunge at Offut Lake Resort north of Tenino will take place at 10 a.m. New Year’s Day. Everyone interested in participating in the plunge or watching people jump in the lake should meet at the dock.
Offut Lake Resort is located on 4005 120th Avenue Southeast, which is north of Tenino. This will be the fifth year of the polar bear plunge at the resort. Last year, 27 people participated in the chilly start to the New Year.
