Annie Oien, executive director of United Way of Lewis County, and Todd Chaput, construction manager of the United Learning Center (ULC) project, are the featured presenters at the August Forum hosted by the Centralia-Chehalis Chamber of Commerce.

A key highlight of the event will be a guided tour of the nearly completed ULC. The forum takes place Thursday, Aug. 14 beginning at 8 a.m. at Centralia City Hall, located at 118 W. Maple St. After opening remarks and introductions, attendees will walk with Oien and Chaput to the ULC site, just one block away, for an up-close look at the new facility.

Once complete, the ULC will house a high-quality, tuition-free early learning program for working families, an after-school mentorship and summer enrichment program operated by the Boys & Girls Club of Lewis County, and the Discover! Children’s Museum, designed to spark curiosity and a love of learning in children of all ages.

Oien and Chaput will provide updates and insights on the vision and impact of the ULC. For more information about the ULC, visit https://tinyurl.com/8mat6u4z.
