Petersen pleaded guilty in Thurston County Juvenile Court in 1999 to one count of attempted indecent liberties with forcible compulsion for Petersen, at age 13, sexually assaulting a known 12-year-old girl. He was sentenced to 129 weeks of confinement.
He is described as 6-foot-3, 200-pound white male with brown hair and hazel eyes.
