Two Randle men injured in improper U-turn crash on U.S. Highway 12 on Friday

Two Randle men were injured in a two-vehicle crash on eastbound U.S. Highway 12 on Friday.

The crash was caused by a vehicle making an improper U-turn, according to the Washington State Patrol.

A gray 2021 Toyota RAV4 driven by Katherine M. Kuntz, 36, of Seattle, reportedly pulled onto the shoulder of eastbound U.S. Highway 12 at milepost 111 near Randle and made a U-turn, pulling out in front of a black 2014 Hyundai Elantra, according to the Washington State Patrol.



Both occupants of the Hyundai, a 48-year-old Randle man and a 20-year-old Randle man, were transported to Providence Centralia Hospital for medical treatment, according to the state patrol.

Troopers were dispatched to the crash at approximately 8:02 p.m. on Friday, March 21.

Drugs or alcohol were not involved in the crash, according to the state patrol.
