The Twin City Wresting Club had 72 members travel north to Eatonville for the Washington State Wrestling Association Battle in the Woods on Sunday, and the team finished in seventh place.
TCWC had six champions lead the way, along with 27 other top-four placers.
The six champions were Isabella Nelson (Girls K-2 49-51), Luke Vizgaudis (U-8 53), Kash Davis (U-10 63), Kaiden Coates (U-14 132), Anna Porter Girls (6-8 81), and Addyson Simond (Girls 6-8 126).
Five took second: Emberly Sharp (Girls K-2 44-45), Ophilea Cortes (Girls K-2 76-78), Norman Ballif (U-12 70), Ian Simonds (U-12 160), and Eli Garcia (U-14 225).
Sixteen more placed third: Charlotte Porter (Girls K-2 45-47), Layla Simond (Girls K-2 76-78), Talmai Houk (U-8 53), Khai Davis (U-8 40), Davin Stratton (U-10 84), Hunter Rice (U-10 93), Lula-May Hilliard (Girls 3-5 62-63), Nikita Nommensen (Girls 3-5 108-121), Dean Carrington (U-12 92), Nicholas Schultz (U-12 108), Kaed Davis (U-14 88), Parker Daniel (U-14 110), Karson Cheney (U-14 132), Zoie Cortes (U-14 225), Aleece Ballif (Girls 6-8 96), and Atrayewe Brown (U-16 120).
And six more took fourth: Julian Jones (U-10 59), Harrison Franklin (U-10 93), Jordyn Turnquist (Girls 3-5 96-104), Jacob Miraglia (U-12 78), Harrison Woodward (U-12 82), and Gibson Morgan (U-14 126).
Next up for the club is the WSWA State Folkstyle Tournament at the Tacoma Dome on Sunday. The club will have 96 wrestlers competing.
