Twin City Pride is inviting the community to a local Pride celebration from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 27, at George Washington Park in Centralia.
Describing the event as family-friendly, organizers stated in a news release that the event “embraces a colorful carnival theme with live entertainment, activities, resources, vendors and so much more.”
“This event is about creating a welcoming space where folks from all walks of life can come together to celebrate who they are and support one another,” organizers stated in the release.
“PRIDE belongs to the entire community and we are excited to continue making this an annual celebration in Lewis County!”
Organizers thanked those who have helped host the event in recent years.
“We extend our gratitude to those who have helped build this event to what it is today,” they wrote. “Without the volunteers, performers, sponsors, community organizations, vendors, etc., this event would not be possible! Together we continue to keep building a stronger, more inclusive community.”
