Twin Cities Sertoma is hosting a cornhole tournament to raise money for deaf and hard of hearing youth on Saturday, May 13, at noon.

The event will be held at Dick’s Brewing, located at 3516 Galvin Road in Centralia.

Registration begins at 11:30 a.m. and the tournament will last from 12 to 3 p.m.

Tickets are $25 per person and only those ages 21 and over may enter.

There will be four round-robin games, a single elimination tournament, beer, food, prizes and raffles, including a dessert auction.

“Partners will be chosen by random drawing to make the tournament more fun for players of all skill levels from beginner to advanced,” said Twin Cities Sertoma in a news release.

The money from last year’s cornhole tournament was donated to Reliable Enterprises.

The funds facilitated the purchase of hearing and vision screening items, namely a Spot Vision Screener and Ero-Scan Plus devices, to support children ages birth to 3 in Reliable Enterprise’s Infant-Toddler Developmental Center, according to a news release from Reliable Enterprises.

“We are indebted to the generosity of Twin Cities Sertoma and the community for coming together to support the children in our community. This support allowed us to purchase needed equipment to rapidly meet the needs of children and families to quickly address and detect vision and hearing concerns at an early age,” said Reliable Enterprises in the news release.
