The Tumwater softball team won its second straight game on Saturday, taking down Montesano on the road 6-0.
An RBI double from Jaime Haase opened the scoring in the top of the first, and a second run came across to score later in the inning on an error.
Megan Barrett plated another on an RBI double in the third, and two more came across on a two-run single from Erika Schock.
Ella Ferguson brought home the T-Birds’ sixth run on an RBI single in the fourth.
That was plenty of run support for Sarah Stevens and Ferguson, who combined to allow five hits and strike out 11 while shutting out the Bulldogs.
Tumwater (2-1) will hit the road again on Wednesday to take on Aberdeen.
