Trunks with Treats: Veterans Memorial Museum hosting Halloween-themed car show with candy Sunday

Posted

Trick-or-treaters this year will have the chance to give their Halloween costumes a test run Sunday at the Trunks with Treats car show at the Veterans Memorial Museum.

The family-friendly event will begin at 4 p.m. on Oct. 29 and will go until the candy runs out, according to the Veterans Memorial Museum’s Facebook page.

“Bring your little ghouls and goblins out for a wicked good time,” the museum stated.

The museum is located at 100 SW Veterans Way in Chehalis.

Spots for those wishing to show their cars do remain, but are limited. To register a car or a business vendor space, call the museum at 360-740-8857 or visit it in person.

Along with the cars and candy, the museum will also feature a haunted gallery for attendees to tour and food trucks and vendors.

Gemini Events is partnering with the Veterans Memorial Museum to host the event. The museum is still accepting donations of candy for the event, which featured dozens of cars and vendors last year.

The Veterans Memorial Museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

A local nonprofit museum, the Veterans Memorial Museum is dedicated to preserving the memories and telling the stories of veterans.
