The Pe Ell volleyball team took care of business on the road Tuesday, beating Firm Foundation in four close sets, 25-20, 23-25, 25-23, 25-22.
“We really needed this league win tonight,” Pe Ell coach Eddie Peterson said. “This is a very tough league and this win was a good boost for our spirits. The girls had awesome passing and we found out quickly that we couldn’t hit around their blockers, so we found their holes and were able to keep hitting those.”
Sophia Milanowski led the Trojans with three kills, Payton Peterson had three blocks, and Brookelynn King had a 100% effort at the service line.
Pe Ell will face league-leading Mossyrock on Thursday.
