The Pe Ell girls basketball team got its week started on a dominant note Monday, winning 50-13 on the road against the Washington School for the Deaf
Karli Phelps led the Trojans with 13 points and 16 rebounds — 13 of which came on the offensive glass — along with four assists and three steals. Devyn Shannon and Madi Engel both scored eight points, with the former bringing in seven rebounds.
“It was a good game to get everyone lots of playing time and work on a few different things,” Pe Ell coach Karli Lennox said. “Everyone scored and contributed in other aspects whether it be rebounds, steals, or assists.”
The Trojans will host Columbia Adventist on Tuesday.
