The Centralia College baseball team swept a four-game series against Grays Harbor over the weekend, pushing its winning streak to seven games in a row.

The CC offense was rolling on Friday, when the Trailblazers won 11-2 and 8-3 in Grays Harbor. They scored in 12 of the 16 innings they came to the plate in, including six innings with multiple runs.

Jevin Patterson went 3 for 4 with a pair of runs batted in in Game 1, while Spencer Kowalski also drove in two. Mitchell Rowe also drove a run, and Sam Matosich collected two hits.

Hudson Normand threw five shutout innings on the mound, and then Ryan Rodriguez retired 12 of the 13 batters he faced and didn’t allow a hit in four innings of relief.

Finn Still pitched all seven innings of game two, allowing three runs while striking out six.

Reuben Elliston drove in two runs, while Jack Skelley, Jesse Mazziotti, Nolan Christ, Mitchell Rowe, and Matosich each added an RBI.

The CC pitching was dominant at Bob Peters Field in the two games on Saturday, a 4-1 win and a 6-0 victory.

Liam Karlson allowed just three hits and one run while striking out five across eight innings of Game 1, and Trey Jacobsen shut the door in the ninth for the save. In Game 2, Lincoln McVicker allowed just two hits and struck out 10 in six shutout innings, and Aiden Scheetz ended it with a perfect seventh.

Christ added two hits, including a double, and an RBI in Game 1, and Skelley and Mazziotti also drove in runs.

In Game 2, Rowe hit a double as part of his two-hit day, and four Trailblazers — Christ, Matosich, Elliston, Patterson — drove in one run each.

CC (18-20, 9-7 NWAC) will look to extend their winning streak against Clark next weekend. The Trailblazers will head to Vancouver for a doubleheader on Friday before hosting the Penguins for a doubleheader on Saturday.
