Joaquin Acosta and Eli Weeks combined for eight walks, but never turned them into damage to help the Riverhawks remain perfect in the C2BL with a 20-3, five-inning win over the Timberwolves in White Pass on Friday night.

Acosta struck out seven in three-plus innings on the mound and Weeks finished off the evening with five strikeouts in 1.2 innings. They allowed just one total hit and one earned run. Toledo (6-0, 5-0 C2BL) provided early run support.

Austin Reed cleared the bases with two outs on a double to cap a four-run top of the first. The Riverhawks proceeded to plate eight in the second and duplicated the margin in the fourth. Their first six batters reached base in the second, while their runs in the fourth came by a balk, two wild pitches, a walk, two errors and two singles.

Reed and Acosta each finished with three RBIs while Rohan Feigenbaum scored three times and stole three bases. For MWP (1-7, 1-5), Decklen Kelly and Laith Pelletier each drew a walk and recorded an RBI.

Toledo and MWP will duke it out again on Monday to conclude the regular season series.
