Toledo responds from first league loss with resounding blowout win

Scoring at least three runs in four of the five innings on Monday allowed the Riverhawks to get back in the win column with a 24-0 victory over Morton-White Pass. It ties the highest-scoring game by Toledo (11-3, 4-1 C2BL) from back in March.

It was the bottom of the order that pushed most of the runs across. No. 9 hitter Ellie Seely went 3-for-4 with five RBIs while Taysia Miller, Audrey Cooper and Brenna Carver all drove in multiple runs. Toledo opened the game with a 6-0 lead, followed by seven runs in the second and six more in the fourth.

MWP (5-8, 0-5) was succumbed by nine errors and the only knock was a double by senior Gracie Ford. Riverhawks ace Peyton Holter struck out eight and needed just 74 pitches to throw a complete game.
