Toledo powers its way past Mossyrock

A six-run fourth inning helped the Toledo baseball team push past Mossyrock on Monday, when the Riverhawks defeated the Vikings 11-4 to win their third game in a row.

Toledo scored the first three runs of the game in the first two innings, but Mossyrock took a 4-3 lead by scoring four runs in the third.

A Rohan Feigenbaum single tied the game and kickstarted the big fourth inning, a frame where Eli Weeks, Mason Ruiz, and Joaquin Acosta added RBI singles, and Nico Acosta also drew a bases-loaded walk.

Eli Weeks added an RBI triple and came around to score on another Nico Acosta RBI knock in the sixth to tack on a pair of insurance runs.

Weeks, Ruiz, and Nico Acosta finished with two RBIs each, while Feigenbaum finished with three hits.

Shaun Fry, Kevin Mitchell, and Van Kost drove in runs for the Vikings, and Easton Kolb and Wylde Greisen tallied two hits apiece.

Both teams kickoff their final regular season series on Wednesday. Toledo (13-4, 11-3 C2BL) will head to Adna, and Mossyrock (6-8, 6-8 C2BL) will host Morton-White Pass.
