The Toledo girls soccer team generated more chances than Evergreen (Vancouver) on Tuesday, but the Riverhawks didn’t capitalize as often and lost 3-2.

Onica Chase put the Riverhawks on the board first with a free kick in the 14th minute, but the Plainsmen scored the next two goals to take a lead into the break.

They doubled their lead with another goal eight minutes into the second half.

Toledo responded quickly, as Xtyn Norberg scored just five minutes later, but the Riverhawks couldn’t finish off an equalizer.

They finished the night with 15 shots, as opposed to Evergreen’s six.

Toledo (0-1) will head south on Thursday to face R.A. Long in another non-league tilt.
