Five players in double figures and scoring at least 20 points in every frame, the Riverhawks put on a two-way clinic with a 95-15 shellacking of the Timberwolves on Monday night in White Pass in a C2BL contest.
The scoring output is the most this season for Toledo (12-4, 10-1 C2BL) and the points allowed is the least. The 80-point margin is the largest differential between two league teams to date. It was an 18-point lead after one that only grew as the game progressed.
Cooper Fallon delivered a 23-point, 17-rebound double-double. Adam Kruger notched 11 points and eight assists as well as zero turnovers. Riverhawks head coach Grady Fallon has been pleased with the senior’s maturity as their point guard.
“He’s learning to control the offense and play tough defense at the same time,” Coach Fallon said.
Trevin Gale added 19 points, Eli Weeks chipped in 15 and Ryder Buswell notched a new career-high with 13 points off the bench. Toledo’s four-game week continues on Tuesday with another league game against Winlock.
MWP (1-16, 1-12) was held to six points in the second half, and only got up a free throw in the fourth. Owen Loucks and Logan Mays each had five points for the Timberwolves, who will take on Rainier on Wednesday night.
