The Toledo boys basketball team got out to a quick start on Tuesday, building a massive early lead before rolling to a 67-35 lead over Winlock.
Cooper Fallon led the way for Toledo with 25 points and 20 rebounds, while Tyce Vigre scored 12 points and grabbed six boards. Eli Weeks tallied 12 points, five steals, and three assists, and Conner Hill scored 11 points.
As a team, Toledo tallied 15 assists, and they won the rebound battle 38-17. Adam Kruger had a team-high eight assists in his first game of the season.
“It’s just good team ball,” Toledo coach Grady Fallon said. “As young as this team is, I think they have the right mindset … It’s just good team ball.”
Landen Cline led the Cardinals with 13 points, while Arean Thapa scored eight and Jaxyn Pelagio added seven.
Both teams are back in action on Thursday, when Toledo (2-0, 2-0 C2BL) hosts Adna and Winlock (1-4, 0-3 C2BL) travels to Onalaska to face the Loggers.
