Titans roll to blowout win over Loggers

The Pe Ell-Willapa Valley baseball team had no issues scoring Saturday morning, as the Titans put up more than two dozen runs in a 26-3 five-inning victory over Onalaska.

Five different Titans drove in at least three runs, including Liam Smaciarz, who hit a home run, drove in six, and finished a single shy of the cycle.

Lucas Lusk added four hits and three runs batted in, while Kannyon Clements went 3 for 3 with an RBI of his own. Liam Lennox drove in three runs and collected two hits, and Blane King added three RBIs and scored two runs.

Brody Aust drove in four runs, and Brayden Ruddell brought home another two.

Smaciarz pitched all five innings, allowing three runs (one earned) while walking two and striking out seven.

Desean Stewart went 3 for 3 with a double and an RBI to lead the Loggers, while Rowdy Lyons and Cooper Lawrence combined for three hits and two RBIs.

Onalaska (5-11, 5-8 C2BL) will head to Toutle to face the Ducks on Monday, while PWV (8-5, 4-2 P2BL) will be back at Pe Ell on Tuesday to host a doubleheader against North Beach.
