The Pe Ell softball team handled Chief Leschi on Tuesday, defeating the Warriors 20-0 and 22-0 in a pair of three-inning contests in a doubleheader.

In game one, two 10-run innings were enough for the Titans (5-0) to end it. Lauren Matlock hit a home run and drove in two, CJ Sipp drove in four with two hits, and Karli Phelps hit a double, drew a walk, drove in a run, and scored two more.

Lauren Emery allowed just one hit in the circle, striking out seven without issuing a free pass.

The Titans were just as dominant in Game 2, scoring 22 runs in three innings. Matlock’s incredible day continued, as she hit two home runs and a triple while driving in five runs and scoring four.

Addison Merkel went 3 for 3 at the plate with a double and three runs batted in, Kylee Lyons and Tylar Keeton tallied two hits and three RBIs each, and Sophia Milanowski went 2 for 2 with a pair of doubles and an RBI.

Eliza Barnum allowed just one hit, striking out four in three scoreless innings of work.

The Titans are off until Tuesday, when they’ll host Forks in a doubleheader.
