The Pe Ell-Willapa Valley softball team had a day to remember at the plate against Chief Leschi on Tuesday, as the Titans scored 46 runs in 21-1 and 26-1 doubleheader sweep.
They needed just five innings to score those runs, as they were the home team and didn’t take an at-bat in the bottom of the third in Game 1.
PWV scored 15 runs in the first inning of both games, added six and seven in the second, and scored four more in the third inning of Game 2.
In Game 1, Lauren Matlock hit a home run and drove in three runs, while Brookelynn King hit a triple, two doubles, and drove in seven runs. Rilyn Channell also drove in two runs, as did Sophia Milanowski.
In Game 2, Jillian Hodel struck out six across three innings, and she also blasted three home runs and a triple to drive in six runs.
CJ Sipp also hit a home run and brought home three, Izzy Milanowski went 4 for 4 with a double and five RBIs, and Karli Phelps hit two doubles and drove in four.
Ruby Magurder collected two hits and three RBIs, and Matlock continued to roll with four hits, including two doubles, and two RBIs in four at-bats. Tylar Keeton also hit two doubles and drove in a run.
All nine Titans tallied a hit, and eight drove in at least one run.
PWV (7-3, 4-0 P2BL) will head to Rochester for a non-league test on Friday.
