The Morton-White Pass boys basketball team never trailed against Eatonville on Wednesday, as the Timberwolves rolled to a 64-53 win over the Cruisers.

Judah Kelly and Tony Belgiorno again led the way offensively, as Kelly led the team with 31 points while Belgiorno added 20. Belgiorno also led the team with 13 rebounds, and Kelly tallied seven assists.

“They’ve been on fire,” MWP coach Kevin Dunlap said. “And we’re playing at a tempo that keeps teams from being able to double team them the whole time.”

The T-Wolves’ supporting cast also had a great night, as Keaton Thompson, Kohen Ingalsbe, and Anthony Snyder combined for 24 rebounds, helping the Timberwolves win the rebound battle 41-37.

“Those three were physical and aggressive all night,” Dunlap said.

Morton-White Pass (2-2) was arguably even more impressive on the defensive end, where the T-Wolves forced 35 Eatonville turnovers.

“We forced a lot of bad shots and bad passes,” Dunlap said. “We played really well. That’s a good win.”

The Timberwolves are back in Morton on Thursday against Toutle Lake before a rematch with the Cruisers at Eatonville on Saturday.
