Ignited by 15 runs in the top of the fourth inning, the Napavine High School softball team coasted by Morton-White Pass 26-1 in five innings on Thursday afternoon in a C2BL tilt at White Pass High School.

Fourteen hitters for Napavine (7-4, 3-1) registered an at-bat and six of them recorded multiple runs batted in. It finished with more walks (16) than hits (15) and only a sacrifice fly in the fourth was the lone out until the third time through the order. The majority of the 15 runs were by either singles, walks or hit by pitches.

Grace Pancake recorded five RBIs for the Tigers while Hannah Fay went 4-for-5 with four runs batted in and she crossed home plate three times. Dakota Lyons and Fay combined to strike out nine and give up a handful of base runners.

MWP (5-7, 0-3) scored on a steal of home by Ruby Barnett. Brooklyn Montoure recorded two hits, including a triple, while I eat. The Timberwolves face Mossyrock on Saturday while Napavine hosts Toutle Lake on Friday.
