The Centralia boys basketball team stayed in it for a half at home Tuesday, but faded after the break in a 72-49 loss to Aberdeen.

The Bobcats, who led 28-23 at halftime, kicked their offense into another gear with 44 points in the second half alone, while the Tigers (3-12, 1-6 2A EvCo) kept a steady pace.

Landen Jenkins put in 20 points to lead the Tigers, and also had seven rebounds. Cohen Ballard added 10 points, five rebounds and five assists, and David Daarud logged eight points and a team-high 10 boards.

Centralia is currently set to face Rochester on the road Thursday; the Tigers beat the Warriors back in December for their only league win thus far this season.
