Of the 13 games the Centralia High School softball team has completed this season, Monday was just the second time they lost by double figures and played less than seven innings in an 11-1, five-inning loss to Aberdeen.
Six runs in the bottom of the first put the Bobcats in control and they never lifted their foot off the gas. They added four in the fourth and a leadoff home run in the fifth was the final run needed to end the game.
Adrianne Lynch put the Tigers (5-8, 3-7 EvCo) on the board in the top of the fifth with an RBI single. She was one of three players to record a hit. They return to the field on Wednesday at home versus Tumwater.
