The Napavine baseball team earned its sixth consecutive win on Thursday, as the Tigers defeated Kalama 15-2 in five innings.
The Tigers (11-3, 11-3 C2BL) jumped out in front immediately with 11 runs in the first inning, and they added a pair in the second and fourth.
That was more than enough run support for Cal Bullock, who allowed just three hits and two runs in five innings of work. He also struck out six and walked just one.
Jack Nelson went 3 for 4 at the plate and drove in three, and Beckett Landram also brought home three. Peyton Norris collected two hits, including a double, and he drove in two of his own.
Napavine is now one game back of Toutle Lake and Adna at the top of the C2BL standings, and the Tigers will welcome Winlock for a league doubleheader on Monday.
