Five runs in the bottom of the seventh ignited Shelton to an 11-10 triumph over Centralia on Wednesday night in an Evergreen Conference showdown at home. The Tigers led 10-6 and gave up a double, then a game-tying three-run home run.

Centralia had a chance to send the game to extra innings, but gave up back-to-back two-out walks and the walk-off single. It seemingly nabbed control of the night with four runs in the fifth, three in the sixth and another tally in the seventh.

A two-run error and a Maddalyn Rothdeutsch RBI base hit gave the Tigers (4-4, 2-3 EvCo) the cushion. The catcher ripped a three-run home run to cap a two-hit day at the plate. Brooklyn Sprague roped a pair of doubles while McKenna Smith also left the yard.

Centralia will attempt to snap a three-game skid on Friday at home versus Aberdeen.
