For the third straight summer, members of the Tumwater community will come together for the Sally Strong event in dedication to Sally Otton. It is once again put on by the 4 the Love Foundation and proceeds also will go to the Michael J. Fox Foundation.
Sally Otton passed away in 2022 after a battle with Parkinson’s disease. This year’s event, taking place at Summit Lake in Olympia once again, will begin at 9 a.m. with a triathlon and a cornhole tournament at noon.
There will also be a silent auction that starts at 10 a.m. as well as food trucks that open at 11 a.m.
