The Wandering Wizards Market is set to transform Pine Street Plaza into a realm of enchantment on Saturday, Oct. 11, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
This free, family-friendly event invites visitors of all ages to step into a magical world filled with local artisans, themed games and interactive activities. Guests can expect to find handcrafted goods, delicious treats, live storytelling and magical workshops including lantern making, potion brewing, wizard hat crafting and more.
Attendees are encouraged to join one of four houses Slitherpins, Ravens Claw, Griffendeer or Huff n Puff, and earn stars throughout the day by completing challenges, solving riddles and joining in the fun. The house with the most stars will be awarded the House Cup at the close of the event.
“The Wandering Wizards Market is about more than just shopping,” event organizer Christy Lakin said in a news release. “It’s about bringing the community together to celebrate imagination, creativity and the small businesses that make Centralia shine.”
The event will feature dozens of local vendors offering everything from handmade art and jewelry to sweet treats and fantastical trinkets. Visitors can also enjoy themed photo ops, games and entertainment throughout the day.
The event is presented by The Victorian and Steampunk Emporium. Admission is free to the public. Activity tickets for some market events and upgraded experiences can be found at vsemporium.com.
