The Tenino boys basketball team’s four-game winning streak came to an end on Thursday, as the Beavers lost a tight 60-57 battle in La Center.
Tenino (6-3) led by six after one, but the Wildcats stormed back to lead by four after two and 10 after three.
The Beavers fought back in the fourth, but fell just short.
Noah Schow led the Beavers in scoring with 23, Austin Gonia tallied 12, and Ashton Moore added 11.
Gonia and Jack Burkhardt both hauled in seven rebounds, while Will Feltus dished out seven assists and Moore logged five steals.
The Beavers will return to action on Dec. 27, when they’ll host King’s Way Christian.
