Posted

Despite not picking up a win for either the girls or boys on Thursday night, the Beavers walked away with a handful of top-five finishes to have the girls finish fourth with 46 points and the boys tied for fifth with 24 points.

It was all freshmen for Tenino’s girls squad as sprinters Maria Summers (100) and Kendall Cox (200) were runners-up and Aurora Johnson recorded a third place finish in the 400. Cox was third in the 100 hurdles and Kendall Bowe was third in the javelin.

Ronin Wachter-Parent and Rowdie Tafoya were the Beavers highest finishers on the boys side, taking third in the 3,200 and shot put, respectively.
