Two teenagers were shot in Seattle's Chinatown International District on Tuesday in an apparent drive-by shooting.

A 16-year-old boy and 19-year-old young man were shot around 4:10 p.m. at South Jackson Street and Sixth Avenue South, Seattle police Detective Brian Pritchard said. The 16-year-old was shot in the arm and torso, while the 19-year-old was shot in the hand and ankle.

Officers canvassed the area and learned that a sedan headed east pulled up next to the teens and fired out of its windows. Pritchard said it's unknown whether a driver or passenger shot at the teens.

He also didn't know the sedan's make and model. Police were looking for the shooter. Those with information were asked to call the Seattle police tip line at 206-233-5000.
