The Morton-White Pass volleyball team held tough in two sets but lost all three it played Thursday, falling 25-23, 25-14, 27-25 to Kalama in Randle in its Central 2B League opener.

“As a team we are disappointed in the way we played, but our focus now is taking the mistakes we made and turning them into lessons so we don’t repeat them,” MWP coach Jamie Brazil said.

Mckenzee Mays, Ryelin Wiedenmann, Malia Armstrong and Keegan Ingalsbe all served 100% for the T-Wolves (3-4, 0-1 C2BL) and Kiera Miller had three blocks.

MWP will take on North Beach in a non-league match Saturday.
