The Morton-White Pass had no issues with 1B Naselle on Friday in Raymond, in a 72-26 non-league blowout.

The T-Wolves (7-5, 2-3 C2BL) jumped out to a 13-0 lead from the opening tip and never looked back, pushing the advantage out to 18 points after a quarter of play and 35 at halftime.

“Everyone played great team ball and made the extra passes, resulting in great opportunities for everyone,” MWP coach Tim Roberts said.

Natalia and Malia Armstrong combined for 21 points and 10 steals in the first half. By the end of four quarters, Natalia Armstrong had racked up 22 points, eight steals and seven assists, while Malia Armstrong had 11 points, six steals and six assists.

“That really got us going, and everyone fed off of that,” Roberts said.

Keira Miller pitched in 13 points, seven steals and four assists. Nine Timberwolves got into the scoring column in total, with the backups playing most of the second half.

“The entire bench played solid minutes tonight,” Murphy said. “I was really proud of our overall teamwork and focus from start to finish. This was a great end to our trip to the coast.”
