The Tumwater soccer team ended its regular season on a fitting note with one more shutout, blanking Rochester 9-0.
The win is the 15th straight clean sheet for the T-Birds (15-0-1, 12-0 2A EvCo). After allowing a goal in the first minute of their season opener against North Thurston, Tumwater finished the regular season with a shutout streak 1,279 minutes long.
The Thunderbirds finished their league run outscoring 2A EvCo opponents 67-0.
Rochester ends its season at 4-11, with a 2-9 record in league play. The Warriors graduate four seniors: Grace Weddle, Macey Fluetsch, Myla Peck and Sara Haury.
Tumwater will take the No. 1 seed from the EvCo into the district tournament, and will host Hockinson next Tuesday in the first round.
