The Tumwater volleyball team lost in three sets at home to 3A North Thurston on Thursday, 25-17, 25-20, 25-11.
Whitney Van Gorkom led the T-Birds with seven kills on .438 hitting, Paige Henderson had six kills at a .600 clip, and Tove Hugus had five at .300. The rest of the team, however, combined to hit negative.
Emily Robello passed out 18 assists and had six digs, while Brooklynn Hayes led the way with 18 digs and Mckayla Clara had five.
Hayes also put up three of Tumwater’s six aces.
Tumwater will head to Lacey next Monday for a match against 3A Timberline.
