A woman suspected of killing her husband in Portland last month was found dead Tuesday near Long Beach, Washington, police said.

On Jan. 26, Portland police officers discovered Phillip Pierce, 37, dead inside a locked home.

Four days later, the police bureau asked for the public’s help finding the man’s wife, Analiesa Golde, and called her a suspect in his homicide.

Her death appears to be suicide, police said.

Earlier this month, the search for her expanded to Southwest Washington, including the Toutle and Mount St. Helens area.
