Thurston County Sheriff’s Office deputies seized a firearm and impounded a vehicle near Offut Lake on Sunday night after a 911 caller reported the possibly intoxicated driver had crashed into a barbed wire fence.
The 911 caller reported an unidentified male “was trying to get his vehicle unstuck after crashing into a (barbed) wire fence, had a bloody nose, and appeared intoxicated,” according to the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office.
The male fled the area on foot and deputies were unable to locate him, according to the sheriff’s office.
