Survey: Centralia School District seeks community feedback to ‘shape the future’

Posted

The Centralia School District seeks to “guide the future of our schools” by inviting parents, students, staff and community members to participate in an online survey, according to a news release from the district.

The online survey, which takes about seven to 15 minutes to complete, is open until April 10.

District officials say responses “will play a critical role in shaping the district’s next strategic plan” and help ensure the district’s priorities “reflect the needs and values of the entire community.”

According to the release, the survey questions cover topics such as academics, communication, safety, school culture and overall district performance.

All responses are confidential.

After review, the district will share a summary of the total results, along with next steps.

According to the release, the survey “provides an opportunity for stakeholders to share honest feedback about what our district is doing well and where we can improve.”

“By participating, community members will directly influence the direction of Centralia School District and help ensure that every student is supported for success,” the release states.

Questions about the survey can be directed to Superintendent Dr. Lisa Grant at lgrant@centralia.wednet.edu.
