Burnt Ridge Nursery in Onalaska will host a public farm and nursery tour with founder Michael Dolan leading the way as he shares all about their 20 acres of organic fruit and nuts, according to a news release from the business.
The tours will be held on Saturday, July 18, and Saturday, Sept. 12. On both days, two separate tours will take place, one from 10 a.m. to noon and another from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Both events will be held outside.
“He’ll show crop plants, including hazelnuts, chestnuts, figs, mulberries, blueberries, kiwis and more!” the news release states. “Cultivation and propagation techniques will be discussed, as well as varieties that do well here in the Pacific Northwest. A fruit sample plate will be provided after the tour.”
