Chehalis Parks and Recreation Director Lilly Wall is the featured speaker at the July forum hosted by the Centralia-Chehalis Chamber of Commerce.

The forum is scheduled for Thursday, July 10, from 8 to 9 a.m. at the V.R. Lee Community Center, located at 221 SW 13th St. in Chehalis.

The presentation will spotlight Stan Hedwall Park, a 200-acre natural destination that includes walking trails, access to the Newaukum River, 29 RV rental sites, sports fields and recently updated restrooms and showers.

A community visioning effort titled “Reimagining Stan Hedwall Park” is currently underway, according to a news release from the chamber. Residents are encouraged to take part in shaping the park’s future by completing a public survey. Details about how to participate, along with other park updates, will be shared during the forum.

Wall will be joined by Recreation Coordinator Sarah Prok to discuss upcoming plans and initiatives.
