The Spring Youth Fair returned to the Southwest Washington Fairgrounds on Friday, May 1, and continues to Sunday, May 3.
On Friday, the fair is open from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Attending the fair Friday is free and is considered a sneak peek, as not all exhibits were in place.
The cost to attend on Saturday and Sunday $5 per day for adults and children 13 and up and $4 for seniors, military and children ages 6 to 12. Children age 5 and younger can enter for free. The cost for parking is $5.
The Kids Market is back on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. It will have over 20 kids vendor booths signed up.
The American Mystifier will be performing some added entertainment as well, due to a sponsorship from Industrial Fabrication.
Crowd favorites such as bouncy houses in the floral building and the kids tractor pedal pull are back this year, with the tractor pull being held daily at 1 p.m. Signups start at 12:30 p.m.
Twelve food vendors and over 25 other vendors, ranging from school districts to commercial products, will be in attendance.
According to fair organizers, this year’s animal departments have had a large increase in entries.
