A small airplane crashed into a house in Cashmere on Wednesday, injuring two people aboard, according to the Chelan County sheriff's office.
The plane crashed into a house in the 300 block of Tigner Road around 5:30 p.m. The house is in line with the Cashmere-Dryden Airport's runway, according to a news release from the sheriff's office.
The two people aboard the plane were transported to a Wenatchee hospital. No update on their condition was available. No one inside the house was injured.
Authorities alerted the National Transportation Safety Board and the Federal Aviation Administration.
