Lincoln City police are searching for a group of masked candy thieves who were allegedly “forcibly stealing” candy baskets from children on Halloween night.
The police department described the thieves in a statement on social media as a “group of males,” but didn’t share how many there were or their suspected age. They are described as wearing all-black clothing and ski masks, police said.
They were last spotted on Northeast Voyage Avenue near Northeast Port Lane in Lincoln City, and police are asking witnesses or victims to share tips with police by calling 541-994-3636.
