Six swimmers from the CCR swimming team have qualified for the state swim meet this weekend. Four of the swimmers are from Centralia, while Rochester is also sending a pair.
Centralia is sending its 400-meter freestyle relay team: Suki Bringman, Chloe Hansen, Anna Nguyen, and Lourdes Rodriguez.
The Centralia relay team came out of district seeded as the #8 relay team.
Bringman (50 and 500 freestyle), Hansen (100 butterfly), and Nguyen (200 individual medley) are also competing in other events.
Grace Morgan and Kaysee Smith will be representing the Warriors in the freestyle races. Morgan will compete in the 100 and 200, while Smith will race in the 500.
1A/2A swimming prelims will begin at 8:45 a.m. on Friday at the King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way, and those who qualify for the finals will return Saturday morning at 8:30 a.m.
