CHEHALIS POLICE DEPARTMENT

Vehicle Prowl

• A vehicle prowl reported in the 3000 block of Airport Road just after 9:15 a.m. on May 12 is under investigation.

• Just after 6:15 a.m. on May 13, a caller in the 800 block of Southwest 21st Street reported a vehicle prowl that had occurred approximately two hours earlier.

• A vehicle prowl in the 400 block of Northeast Adams Avenue was reported just before 5:15 a.m. on May 14.

• A vehicle prowl reported in the 400 block of Northeast Adams Avenue just before 5:30 a.m. on May 14 is under investigation.

 

Burglary

• A burglary reported in the 1100 block of Southeast Washington Avenue just before 5:40 a.m. on May 14 is under investigation.

Malicious Mischief

• Mark A. Silva, 41, of Centralia, was arrested in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue just after 9:35 a.m. on May 12 and was booked into the Lewis County Jail for alleged third-degree malicious mischief and for resisting arrest.

• Just after 7 a.m. on May 14, a caller reported that the fuel line to a work vehicle in the 1500 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue was cut sometime overnight.

 

Assault

• A case of custodial assault that allegedly occurred at Green Hill School on April 26 was reported at approximately 12:45 p.m. on May 12.

• Jeremy A. Goldner, 34, of Chehalis, was arrested in the 300 block of Southwest James Street just after 9:20 p.m. on May 13 and was booked into the Lewis County Jail for alleged second-degree assault, domestic violence; third-degree assault; felony harassment, domestic violence; witness tampering; criminal mistreatment and resisting arrest.

DUI

• Gregory J. Quinn, 66, Vader, was arrested in the 1000 block of Southwest 20th Street at approximately 3:35 p.m. on May 12 and was booked into the Lewis County Jail for allegedly driving under the influence and urinating in public.

 

Escape

• An escape reported at the intersection of Northwest State Avenue and West Main Street just after 12:25 p.m. on May 13 is under investigation. No additional information was provided.

 

CENTRALIA POLICE DEPARTMENT

Fraud

• A case of stolen credit card information reported in the 1100 block of North Pearl Street just before 3:15 p.m. on May 12 is under investigation.



 

Theft

• A catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 200 block of West Reynolds Avenue just before 7:10 p.m. on May 12.

• Merchandise was reported stolen from a business in the 1000 block of Belmont Avenue at 7:40 p.m. on May 12.

• A subject was arrested in the 1100 block of Kresky Avenue just after 11:45 p.m. on May 13 and was cited for alleged third-degree theft, resisting arrest and possession of drug paraphernalia.

 

Crashes

• A non-injury, two-vehicle collision in the 800 block of Johnson Road was reported just before 7:25 p.m. on May 12.

• Just before 2:15 p.m. on May 13, it was reported that a vehicle crashed into a stop sign in the 1200 block of Harrison Avenue.

 

Hit-and-Run

• A hit-and-run collision in the 100 block of West Maple Street was reported just after 10:45 p.m. on May 13.

 

Graffiti

• Graffiti and damage to property was reported in the 900 block of North Pearl Street just before 1:40 p.m. on May 13.

 

Assault

• A subject was arrested in the 400 block of North Oak Street just after 6:05 p.m. on May 13 and was cited for alleged fourth-degree assault, domestic violence.

 

LEWIS COUNTY JAIL STATISTICS

As of Friday morning, the Lewis County Jail had a total system population of 143 inmates, including 122 in the general population and 21 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center. Of general population inmates, 96 were reported male and 26 were reported female. All WERC inmates were reported male.
