Harassment
• A case of harassment, occurring via cell phone, was reported in the 100 block of North Gold Street just before 11:50 a.m. on Dec. 10. This case is under investigation.
Assault
• An alleged assault was reported in the 100 block of South Silver Street at approximately 12:55 p.m. on Dec. 10. Officers confirmed that video evidence did not support the allegation.
Indecent exposure
• Two subjects were arrested in the 2000 block of Borst Avenue at 9:50 p.m. on Dec. 10 and were issued citations for lewd conduct after being found engaging in sexual conduct in a public space.
Theft
• A frozen food item was shoplifted from a store in the 1400 block of Harrison Avenue at approximately 11:55 a.m. on Dec. 10.
• Two unidentified males reportedly stole eight pairs of shoes, worth a total of over $750, from a store in the 1300 block of Lum Road at 3:35 p.m. on Dec. 10.
• A theft from a business in the 1400 block of Harrison Avenue reported at 5:35 p.m. on Dec. 10 is under investigation.
• A Nintendo Switch was reportedly stolen from a package that was left on a porch in the 100 block of South Rock Street just after 9:15 a.m. on Dec. 11.
Nuisance
• Ramon Vidales, 40, of Centralia, was arrested in the 100 block of East Pine Street just after 2:05 a.m. on Dec. 11 and was booked into the Chehalis Tribal Jail for camping on city property. This was his second offense.
Domestic violence
• Troy Houghtaling Sr., 65, of Centralia, was referred to the Centralia Municipal Court for violation of a domestic violence protection order in the 2100 block of North Pearl Street at 6:15 p.m. on Dec. 11.
• Sean Pomme, 21, of Yelm, was arrested in the 900 block of North Tower Avenue just before 10:45 p.m. on Dec. 11 and was booked into the Lewis County Jail for first-degree theft, domestic violence.
• America Arellano, 24, of Centralia, was arrested in the 900 block of North Tower Avenue just after 10:40 p.m. on Dec. 11 and was booked into the Lewis County Jail for third-degree malicious mischief, domestic violence.
Warrant arrests
• Randy A. Durham, 43, of Centralia, was arrested at the intersection of South Silver Street and Centralia College Boulevard just before 10:10 a.m. on Dec. 11 and was booked into the Lewis County Jail on an outstanding Lewis County District Court warrant.
• Brody A. Rice, 26, of Salkum, was arrested in the 500 block of South Tower Avenue at approximately 3:25 p.m. on Dec. 11 and was booked into the Chehalis Tribal Jail on an outstanding Department of Corrections felony warrant for escape community custody.
Malicious mischief
• A juvenile was arrested in the 1000 block of North Washington Avenue at 6:20 p.m. on Dec. 11 and was booked into Lewis County Juvenile Detention Center for third-degree malicious mischief.
CHEHALIS POLICE DEPARTMENT

JAIL STATISTICS
• As of Dec. 12, the Lewis County Jail had a total facility population of 155 inmates, including 142 in the general population and 13 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center (WERC). Of the general population inmates, 115 were reported male and 27 were reported female. Of the WERC inmates, 11 were reported male and two were reported female.
• As of Dec. 12, the Chehalis Tribal Jail had a total jail population of 21 inmates. Of those, eight were from Centralia, six were from the Department of Corrections and one was from Napavine. Additionally, there were two inmates from the Quileute Nation and one each from the Skokomish Tribe, Suquamish Tribe, Shoalwater Bay Tribe, Tulalip Tribe and Lummi Nation.
