• Trevor R. Todd, 51, Tenino, was arrested for eluding and other charges after allegedly avoiding a traffic stop in the 1200 block of Harrison Avenue at about 8:03 p.m. Oct. 19. According to the Centralia Police Department, a routine Department of Licensing check on the registration of a green Audi A6 alerted officers that the vehicle had been used in passing counterfeit money in Chehalis earlier in the year. Officers attempted a traffic stop. A pursuit ensued. The driver of the Audi allegedly drove at speeds over 80 mph north on Harrison Avenue toward Thurston County. The pursuit was terminated for community safety reasons. At approximately 8:30 p.m., Thurston County deputies attempted another traffic stop on the same Audi, which resulted in another pursuit. The front tire of the Audi was ultimately deflated by spike strips. The suspect reportedly drove on the rim until he was arrested on Interstate 5. According to Centralia police, Todd was found in possession of counterfeit money and fake identifications. He allegedly had multiple warrants out of Pierce and King Counties for charges similar to the ones he was arrested for on Sunday. Thurston County Dispatch advised that this vehicle was also associated with passing counterfeit money in Tumwater the day prior.
